Your PAC has many wonderful events coming up!

The BC Fruit & Veggie program is already up and running and your student will be receiving a 2oz bag of baby peeled carrots on September 25.

We will also be sending home fund-raising packages with regards to Regal & Purdy’s in the near future. Please look for more information in your child’s agenda/backpack.

The BC Confederation of Parent Advisory Councils and the District Parent Advisory Council are hosting a conference for all parents on October 20. DPAC is sponsoring two parents from each school to attend. If you are interested please contact Lesley at kyleandlesley@hotmail.com for more information.

Fruit and Veggie Day
Baby Carrots will be distributed to students on Tuesday September 25.

School Spirit Wear
School-spirit wear is coming to Heather Park!

During the first two weeks of October the PAC will be taking orders for Heather Park T shirts ($10), Hoodies ($22), shorts ($14) and toques ($12).

More information will be sent home with students on October 1 and will also be posted on the PAC website. This is a great way to stock up your wardrobe and show your Heather Park school spirit

Campbell’s Soup Labels
A big thank you to all the families who continue to send us their Campbell’s soup labels.

With your contributions the PAC has been able to place a significant order for activity sets, equipment and resources for the school. All those labels add up to make a big difference!!.

If you have labels from Campbell’s soup cans, please drop them off in the PAC box in the school office. Campbell’s soup labels are used as points through the Labels for Education program to purchase needed extra items for the school.

Parking Lot Reminders
Park only designated parking spaces. The white lined area at the end of the visitor parking lot is a no stopping zone.

The handicapped parking spaces in the visitor parking lot are for people displaying handicapped parking signs only. We have several families in the school who require these. They are convenient to use but this is not acceptable.

When walking through the visitors parking lot please use the new sidewalks. Do not walk down the middle of the parking lot.

Please use the parking lot at the Elksentre across Heather Road whenever possible.
