Parent Input Opportunity — OCT 17 @ 6:00 PM

As mentioned at our Open House, Heather Park is implementing a Positive Behaviour Support plan to teach students social skills that will help prevent bullying and allow teachers to increase the learning in classrooms. The first step is to decide what core values and skills we think are most important to focus on in our school.
With this in mind, we are inviting all parents to join us for dinner and an informal discussion about their top priorities when addressing behaviour issues.

Dinner will be Oct. 17 at 6:00 PM at Heather Park (before the regular PAC meeting). We will order in Chinese food, and the cost is $10.00 per person. If interested, please email bschreiner@sd57.bc.ca BEFORE 3:00 PM on the 17th so we can order enough food. Discussion will be informal, with two two questions to consider:

1. What are your concerns with students’ behaviour at school.

2. What skills or attitudes do you think should be top priorities for our work with children at Heather Park?

We REALLY hope parents can join us. This is a chance to have direct input into what happens at our school. Childcare will be provided in the library.

Thank you.
