Fruit and Veggie Day
Ambrosia Apples will be distributed to students on Tuesday, January 29.

Grape Tomatoes will be distributed to students on Tuesday, February 19.

Carnaval Trip Meeting
There will be a meeting on Thursday, February 7 to plan for the Grade 6/7 trip to Quebec Carnaval in 2014.

General PAC Meeting
The next general PAC meeting will be held on Thursday, February 21 at 7 pm in the computer room beside the library.

Childcare will be available and all parents and guardians of students enrolled in Heather Park, including parents of Strong Start students, are encouraged to attend.

Regal Christmas Fundraiser
The Regal on-line Christmas sales raised over $1,700 for the PAC. Thank you to all the parents, grand-parents, staff and other members of the school community who helped make this a success.

Spring Hockey Raffle
With the return of the NHL we are happy to be able to go ahead with our 3rd Annual Winter Raffle.

This is a huge fundraiser for our PAC and we need your help! We are still looking for a coordinator so if you are interested please contact Lisa Neukomn at

You will also be receiving information coming home over the next couple of weeks. Please keep a look out for:

  • Reverse Permission form (each student will be handed a book of raffle tickets UNLESS you send the reverse permission form back)
  • Prize information
  • Volunteering Opportunities (we will need help during school time and also outside of school hours)

The kick-off date is tentatively scheduled for February 15 with the draw date of March 15.
